Salary: £78,000 – £93,500 + equity options. This is a senior leadership role for an engineer stepping up from a Tech Lead/Software Team Leader position. Responsibilities
* Lead and mentor engineers within a cross-functional squad
* Guide architecture and promote modern engineering practices
* Collaborate with product and design to deliver meaningful features
* Support the team to improve velocity and adherence to best practices
* Conduct code reviews, unblock issues, and drive engineering excellence

What you’ll need
* Background in software engineering with strong technical depth
* Experience leading or managing engineers (formal or informal)

* Skills in architectural decision-making and mentoring
* Ability to conduct code reviews and guide engineers toward best practices
* Empathy, clarity, and confidence when guiding cross-functional teams
