Job overview
We would like to invite eligible Paramedics, EMTs or Pre-Hospital Practitioners (PHP) with experience of 2-years or more post qualification to apply for a 6-month secondment on the Suffolk Mental Health Vehicle.
This role will be working alongside an Advanced Mental Health Practitioner from Norfolk and Suffolk Foundation Trust (NSFT). This is an exciting position, allowing patients to receive mental health care, in the right place, at the right time, by the right clinician. The MHRV follows a successful pilot period and is in line the current NHS framework for ambulance mental health care.
This resource operates 7-days per week, 15:00-01:00hrs, currently from Ipswich Ambulance Station, covering both East and West Suffolk localities. The MHRV may move to start from Stowmarket in the future – however notice would be given for this location change. Applicants are advised to note this potential location move before applying.
You will remain on your current pay and unfortunately no mileage payments can be offered during the secondment. You will remain working within your current scope of practice (EMT, Paramedic or PHP).
To be considered for this opportunity, please submit your expression of interest in 300 words to both @@ stating your interest and suitability for the role.
