Watford Community Housing Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 37 hours per week The vacancy Introduction to the role - are you an experienced Finance Operations manager who can lead a team to deliver an excellent support service for a highly-rated social landlord. We are recruiting a Finance Business Partner to help us continue to deliver vital services that help people live better lives - please come and join us on this journey. What's the role? The postholder will be responsible for the full suite of financial operations - covering the management of both accounts payable and receivable, credit and debtor control, preparation of VAT returns, review of the company payroll, key control account reconciliations and compliance with national procurement legislation amongst other things. This role is supported by four direct reports, and you will be a part of a wider Finance Business Partner Team that helps the business to deliver its core objectives and achieve its corporate strategy. What are we looking for? You will be a key point of contact within the business, so relationship management is a key attribute that we are looking for. Experience of working in a dynamic finance department is essential, as well as experience of line management and development of staff. The ability to analyse multiple sources of data and information would also be advantageous. Essential: At least 2 years' experience of managing in a credit control environment Excellent numerical and analytical skills Experience managing and developing staff Knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel Ability to manage and prioritise workloads Ability to consistently meet deadlines You will need to maintain a satisfactory basic level DBS check.
