As a Project Engineer/Junior Project Manager, you will manage a small team of cross functional experts in delivering small size/low complexity projects, bids and business development activities, within scope, to time, and on budget.

Responsibilities
* Develop project schedules and monitor against the schedule goals for a small project or several work packages
* Initiate and manage the project and the team to deliver the agreed outcomes within time, cost and quality constraints.
* Select and tailor the appropriate delivery methodology in line with organizational P3M guidelines and the project complexity assessment.
* Identify skill requirements and work with relevant resource owners and deploy resources as project progresses through its stages.
* Determine stakeholder interests, requirements and levels of influence, and actively manage communications and stakeholder engagement to support the successful project delivery and inform decision making.
* Cascade vision and translate into delivery objectives and work packages for the team.
* Develop and monitor cost and schedule baseline (budgets, management reserve, undistributed budget, network schedules, and scope changes) for projects
* Conduct effective Risk Management, ensuring that risks are recorded, managed and tracked ensuring all the risks with wider implications are escalated.
* Provide key reports and ensure effective governance, decision making and timely escalation of issues and early warning signs.
* Manage contractual requirements and payment milestones with clients and suppliers.

* Suitable relevant project experience within engineering/construction/… projects, including the application of project management processes.
Desirable
* Good MS Office skills
* APM Project Management Qualification or equivalent
Essential (Qualifications)
* Equivalent of 5 GCSEs, grades A*-C or 9-4 including Science, English, ideally with a Grade B or above in Maths
* Bachelor’s degree or working towards a degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering or Engineering is preferred
* Currently pursuing or recently completed a diploma or degree in Project Management, Project Controls, Data Analytics, Construction, Engineering, or a related field.
