Are you a passionate and experienced mental health professional seeking a challenging and rewarding role?
We are looking for a dynamic and highly motivated Non-Medical Prescriber (NMP) to join our innovative CYPMH Multi-Agency Team. This role involves working alongside a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional care to young people with complex mental health needs.

What You'll Be Doing
1. Clinical Practice: Assessing, diagnosing, and managing a diverse range of mental health conditions in young people.
2. Prescribing: Independently prescribing medications within your scope of practice, ensuring safe and effective treatment.
3. Collaboration: Working closely with colleagues in Specialist Eating Disorder Services and First Episode Psychosis teams to provide seamless care.
4. Supervision and Mentorship: Supporting, supervising, and mentoring junior staff members, fostering a positive and supportive learning environment.
5. Training and Development: Participating in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
6. Service Improvement: Contributing to the ongoing development and improvement of our services.
What We're Looking For
* Essential:
o NMC registration as a mental health nurse
o Independent prescribing qualification
o Significant experience in mental health nursing
o Excellent clinical assessment and decision-making skills
o Strong communication and interpersonal skills
o Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
o Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
* Desirable:
o Experience working with young people
o Knowledge of specialist eating disorders or first episode psychosis
o Leadership and management experience
