Rapid Access and General Gynaecology Clinics Deliver care inGeneral Gynaecologyand2WW Rapid Access Clinicsunder indirect consultant supervision. Manage a personal patient list and oversee clinic administration, including GP correspondence and result follow-up. Maternity Triage and Day Assessment Unit Provide senior-level expertise in managing high-risk women using theBSOTS frameworkfor standardised assessments. Support complex clinical decision-making in theMaternity Day Assessment Unit. Elective Caesarean Sections and Gynaecology Theatres Assist inelective caesarean sections, covering pre-, intra-, and post-operative care. Participate ingynaecology theatre listsunder consultant supervision and follow up on inpatients as required. Collaboration and Multidisciplinary Teamwork Work closely with obstetricians, anaesthetists, midwives, and the wider healthcare team to ensure seamless, patient-centred care. Contribute to case reviews and multidisciplinary meetings, offering clinical insight and collaborative decision-making. Communicate effectively with patients and families, ensuring clarity, empathy, and responsiveness. Clinical Governance and Quality Improvement Maintain up-to-date clinical knowledge and competencies inobstetrics and gynaecology, with emphasis on colposcopy and vulval disease.
