About the Role:
As a Sales Representative for Green Lane Blinds, you'll be visiting customers at their homes or on-site to provide product advice, take accurate measurements, and close sales. You'll play a key role in delivering a seamless, high-quality experience from first consultation through to final order.
Key Responsibilities:
* Visit homes and sites to consult with potential customers
* Offer professional product advice and close sales
* Accurately measure windows and spaces using a tape measure
* Enter measurements and customer information into our system
* Upload data and details using our internal software
* Use the company van to travel between appointments (during work hours only)
* Represent Green Lane Blinds with professionalism and enthusiasm
What We're Looking For:
* Friendly, fresh-faced, and hard-working personality
* Positive, can-do attitude and team spirit
* Proven sales experience (essential)
* Full UK driver's license (must be over 25 for insurance purposes)
* Able to use a tape measure
* Good basic maths and IT skills
* Reliable, well-organised, and confident communicating with customers

Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients.
* Identify customer needs and provide appropriate solutions.
* Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to potential clients.
* Negotiate terms of sales agreements to close deals effectively.
* Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions.
* Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional strategies.
* Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments.
* Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
* Organise and manage time effectively to meet sales targets.
Experience
* Full clean Uk drivers licence
* Proven experience in a sales role or similar position is essential.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Excellent time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively.
* Proficient in English with strong verbal and written communication abilities.
* Experience in negotiating sales contracts and closing deals successfully.
* A background in IT or familiarity with technology products.
* A genuine drive for achieving sales goals and enhancing customer satisfaction.
