Overview
We are looking to appoint an Audio/Visual ICT Technician to join our dedicated and driven ICT Technical Team from [DATE]. This unique role involves maintaining the school's AV equipment and operating sound and lighting systems for productions and other events. You will work closely with teachers, suppliers, and students involved in the technical aspects of productions, and assist the ICT Technician with general maintenance as required.
Responsibilities
* Maintain and troubleshoot the school's AV equipment.
* Run sound and lighting equipment for productions and events.
* Provide guidance to students on technical aspects of productions.
* Assist the ICT Technician with general maintenance tasks.
* Support the Drama Department with lighting and technical needs during exams and shows.
Qualifications
* Prior experience in providing sound and lighting support, or a strong passion and willingness to pursue further training.
* Flexible with working hours, including occasional evenings and weekend work to accommodate event schedules.
* Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with teachers and suppliers.
