Role Purpose:
As Energy Finance Manager for the Heat Network at Residential Management Group (RMG), you will manage external billing agents, facilitate debt collection, and ensure customer queries regarding debt and billing are handled efficiently and accurately. You will also oversee financial management and reconciliation of heat network funds.
Location:
This role is based full-time at our offices in Hoddesdon, EN11 0DR.
Key Responsibilities:
* Respond to customer queries about their district heating accounts.
* Coordinate with billing providers on tariff setting and debt recovery.
* Manage the transfer of debt from billing agents into RMG’s processes.
* Attend meetings with clients to discuss issues and resolutions.
* Provide training and support to colleagues on processes.
* Assist with complex queries and escalate when necessary.
* Follow company policies and procedures.
Essential Skills and Experience:
* Background in accountancy or bookkeeping.
* AAT qualified or working towards qualification.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel (Intermediate level).
* Attention to detail and good time management.
* Excellent communication skills and customer service focus.
* Ability to make independent and collaborative decisions supported by evidence.
Qualifications:
* Member level IRPM qualification.
* Knowledge of Heat Network Regulations or the utilities sector.
