Adecco is pleased to be recruiting for a Trainer to join Dorset Police. The successful candidate would be based at their HQ in Winfrith.
This is an office-based role, working Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week. The pay rate is £17.24 per hour.
While based at Winfrith, flexibility to travel to other premises in Ferndown may be required. Please note, this post is temporary until March 2026.
The purpose of the role:
* Design and deliver training and development interventions to ensure police officers, staff, and other members meet the force's requirements and priorities.
* Focus on delivering initial and force training programs across specific geographic areas, including targeted training for staff groups. Posts are based across Dorset, Devon, and Cornwall.
Responsibilities:
* Coordinate and prepare annual training schedules, design, develop, and deliver various training packages, including initial and force training.
* All training posts are generic; there may be a need to deliver training in other areas as required.
* Design and deliver training through written materials, classroom sessions, and learning exercises, utilizing available technology and innovative methods.
* Identify training needs of individuals and the organization through training needs analysis. Consult with management to address these needs and assess skills against relevant standards.
Due to police criteria, applicants must have lived in the UK for at least the last 5 years continuously. Less than this will not be considered.
