Millfield Prep School is looking for enthusiastic and caring individuals to join our team as One-to-One Teaching Assistants from September 2025. These temporary roles involve supporting pupils with special educational needs or those learning English as an additional language, working closely with teachers and our SENCO to help children thrive in the classroom and beyond.
You’ll provide in-class and small group support, assist with learning activities, and help promote positive behaviour and progress. The ability to relate well to children and adults, work as part of a team, and maintain confidentiality is essential. GCSEs in Maths and English (grade C/4 or above) are required. Experience with SEN or EAL is desirable.
Roles are term time only, with a mix of full-time, part-time, and job share options available. Contract lengths will vary. Please indicate your availability and role preference on your application form. The hourly rate for this role is £14.02 per hour.
