Oaklands Global are currently recruiting a Stores Person for our well-established aviation client based at Oxford Airport. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in stores, warehouse, or logistics environments to join a professional team supporting aviation operations. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring that parts, materials, and consumables are accurately received, stored, and issued, helping to maintain safe and efficient aircraft maintenance activities. Responsibilities:
* Receive, inspect, and record incoming parts, materials, and consumables in accordance with company and regulatory requirements.
* Accurately log parts into the inventory management system (e.g., Quantum, CAMP, or similar).
* Label, store, and organize stock to ensure easy accessibility and compliance with shelf-life and storage requirements.
* Assist in issuing materials, tools, and equipment to maintenance personnel as requested.
* Monitor stock levels and report shortages, discrepancies, or damages to the Stores Supervisor.
* Support periodic stock checks, audits, and reconciliation activities.
* Ensure proper handling and documentation of hazardous materials and aircraft-certified components.
* Coordinate dispatch and shipping of parts and materials to vendors, customers, or other JMI facilities.
* Maintain a clean, organized, and safe stores environment at all times.
* Assist with administrative duties such as filing, data entry, and recordkeeping.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a stores, warehouse, or logistics environment (aviation experience desirable).
* Good knowledge of stock control and inventory systems.
* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
* Ability to work accurately under pressure and to tight deadlines.
* Good communication and teamwork skills.
* Basic computer literacy (Microsoft Office and inventory management software).
* Full UK driving licence (or equivalent).
Desirable:
* Experience in an CAA, EASA Part-145 or FAA Repair Station environment.
* Knowledge of aircraft components, certification requirements, and traceability documentation (e.g., EASA Form 1, FAA 8130-3).
* Forklift or handling equipment certification.
