What you'll do: Conduct financial assessments via telephone, online, or in-person visits, tailoring your communication style to meet the diverse needs of clients. Accurately calculate clients' contributions towards the cost of care services provided by Hampshire County Council and explain complex calculations with compassion, care, and diplomacy. Identify and support clients with potential welfare benefits claims. Remain calm and professional when faced with emotional responses during challenging conversations. Work flexibly across a wide geographical area, making best use of homeworking and council hubs. What we're looking for: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong empathy and the ability to handle emotional responses with care. Professionalism and diplomacy in all client interactions. First-class numeracy skills and attention to detail. Confidence in working independently and using IT skills to enhance your work efficiency. Previous experience of accurately dealing with complex financial information and awareness of personal finance products.
