FLOATER ROLE – SITES: PETERBOROUGH, OAKHAM, ANCASTER & BOURNE
The role of Sales Advisor reports to the Sales Manager and involves managing all aspects of the day-to-day operations at the site sales complex, ensuring exceptional customer service throughout the customer journey. Responsibilities include achieving qualified sales reservations, meeting or exceeding sales targets, and efficiently progressing reservations through to exchange of contracts and legal completion.
Principal accountabilities include:
1. Maintaining high standards of site and sales complex presentation
2. Providing accurate and complete information to purchasers at all times
3. Guiding potential purchasers around show homes, stock plots, and the site to demonstrate the product effectively
4. Ensuring visitors and potential purchasers are aware of Bellway’s Health and Safety Policy and are always accompanied by a Bellway representative
5. Keeping accurate records using Bellway’s in-house CRM system
6. Liaising regularly with purchasers, solicitors, and financial advisers
7. Organizing home demonstrations with the Site Manager and carrying out the company’s handover policy
8. Assisting purchasers post-legal completion with any defects or customer care issues
9. Attending and minuting weekly Sales/Site Meetings with the Site Manager
10. Collaborating proactively with Sales Managers and colleagues to suggest ideas for increasing sales
REQUIREMENTS
Experience
* Experience in a face-to-face sales environment
* Experience as a Sales Advisor for a residential house builder is desirable
Qualifications and Training
* GCSE Maths and English – Grade 4/C or above (or equivalent)
Skills and Aptitude
* Effective negotiation and sales skills
* Strong communication and listening skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* IT literacy and adaptability to new systems
* Commitment to diversity and inclusion
The Role and Working Conditions
* Flexibility regarding daily duties and working hours
* Lone working depending on the site
* Ability to travel to all sales sites, including divisional offices
* Availability to work weekends and bank holidays
