Job Title: Treasury Analyst
Location: Durrington (Worthing) (Hybrid – 1–2 days/week in office)
Contract Type: Permanent
Hours: 37/ week
Salary: up to £35,000 DOE
About the role
As our Treasury Analyst, you’ll be the subject matter expert for cash management, including systems and treasury automation. You’ll ensure our cash and debt management runs smoothly and in line with governance and control processes. You’ll also support wider Treasury activities and contribute to ad-hoc projects and reporting
What you will be responsible for:
1. Monitoring bank positions to ensure sufficient cleared funds for payments and obligations.
2. Creating and processing intercompany and external payments.
3. Minimising idle balances and maximising returns on cash through making investments.
4. Maintaining up-to-date banking and dealing mandates.
5. Documenting policies and procedures to ensure auditability and compliance.
6. Managing queries from banks, advisors, auditors, and internal stakeholders.
What you’ll bring to the role:
Essential
7. Experience in cash management operations and processes, or demonstrable analytical skills gained in a non-treasury environment.
8. Strong Excel skills and a keen eye for detail.
9. Excellent customer service and communication skills.
10. A background in finance, treasury, or similar roles (e.g., Treasury Assistant, Cash Manager, Analyst).
Desirable
11. Qualification from the ACT or a willingness to study towards one.
