What the Job Involves As a Private Sector Housing Licence Process Officer, you will play a crucial role in processing all housing licence applications within the private rented sector. This includes handling Selective, Additional, and Mandatory licensing applications, ensuring compliance with the Housing Act 2004. You will assess applications, conduct occasional property visits, provide customer service, and work closely with Environmental Health Officers and other team members to investigate problematic applications. Your duties will also involve data input, identifying deficiencies, and ensuring correct licence payments.
