Art Teacher Durham Up to £1000 per week - depending on Experience An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Art teacher to cover Key Stage 3/4 classes at a secondary school located in Durham We are seeking a talented and passionate Art specialist with QTS or PGCE qualifications to join a dedicated team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging Art lessons across Years 7-11 Key Responsibilities: Planning and teaching Art lessons to KS3/4 classes that inspire and challenge students Assessing student progress and providing feedback Implementing effective behaviour management strategies to ensure a productive learning environment Collaborating with other Maths teachers to share best practices and contribute to the department's continued success The ideal candidate will: Have experience teaching Art to KS3/4 level, with demonstrable impact on pupil progress Hold QTS or PGCE certification with subject specialism in Art Have excellent classroom management and organisational skills Promote Art in a positive way to engage and motivate students In return, we offer a welcoming environment with great professional development opportunities and a competitive salary.
