Assistant Professor – Digital Marketing & AI (Teaching Focused)
We are seeking to appoint an Assistant Professor with experience of developing and delivering modules or skills in the field of Digital Marketing and Artificial Intelligence (AI). The successful candidate will have a developing professional and academic experience of Digital Marketing and AI and play a role in developing modules in areas of relevance to WMG. We are particularly interested in applicants with knowledge of marketing strategy and business development; omnichannel marketing tactics with data‑driven decision-making; digital analytics, visualisation and the application of AI techniques in an international context.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will develop and deliver modules and skills in Digital Marketing and AI, and play a role in developing modules in areas of relevance to the Warwick Manufacturing Group (WMG). This role is part of the University of Warwick Teaching Career Pathway, providing opportunities for advancement up to and including Professor level.
Qualifications
For Assistant Professor level the successful candidate must hold a doctorate or equivalent professional qualification alongside a postgraduate degree, and have experience of teaching in a higher education context. Candidates should demonstrate experience of teaching in higher education and a passion for impactful education and positive student outcomes. Those with a track record in research outputs but limited educational experience are unlikely to be shortlisted for this role.
