Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Facade Designer based in the London area. The Facade Designer will develop innovative facade solutions, create detailed shop drawings, and collaborate with various teams to ensure effective project execution. Responsibilities include working on facade designs & cladding systems to align with project specifications and timelines.
Qualifications
* Experience in Facade Design and expertise in Facade systems
* Proficiency in creating CAD Drawings and technical details
* Knowledge of Cladding materials and systems
* Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
* Ability to collaborate effectively with design, engineering, and construction teams
* Familiarity with CAD software or other design tools is advantageous
* Experience in using BIM and Revit (desirable)
* Experience working with document management systems (eg Asite / Aconex) (desirable)
* Formal CAD or related discipline (desirable)
* Knowledge of UK and German construction standards and facade performance requirements (desirable)
* Experience working on complex or multi-disciplinary projects
The Package
Up to £50k+ salary plus company bonus scheme and pension. This is based on 40hrs per week Monday to Friday. The role is working from an office in central London. Hybrid may be considered for the right person / situation.
