We have an exciting opportunity for a Mental Health Clinical Lead to join our mental health team at Gatwick IRC, located in Gatwick.

The site currently offers a 24-hour service and shift patterns
Hours- 37.5
8:00am-16:00pm
9.00am-17:00pm
Monday-Friday
Salary
This position is full time, you’ll receive an annual salary up to £57,603 per annum FTE - depending on experience.

Candidates are required to have a Legal right to work in the UK and due to the nature of the role, offers of employment will be subject to additional vetting and security checks.
As a Mental Health Clinical Lead, your responsibilities will vary. You will
* Provide clinical leadership and management to Registered nurses and allied health professionals.
* Establish inter-agency working where necessary to ensure good communication increases quality of care for patients.
* Ensure own clinical practice is consistent with autonomous practice within the role.
* Actively participate with the development of local operating procedures to ensure pathways are clear for clinicians .
* Set standards for care by implementing protocols and establishing health education activities.
* Maintain accurate documentation of assessment, planning and treatment of patients.
* Working closely with the Head of Healthcare ensuring that reports and other measures are accurately
completed within deadlines.

Requirements
* NMC Registered Mental Health Nurse
* Experience of providing supervision
* Teaching / Mentoring experience and /or qualification Experience
* Evidence of appropriate continuing professional development activity to maintain up-to-date knowledge and on-going competence in all aspects of the role
