An established and design led Landscape Architecture practice is looking to appoint a Senior Landscape Architect to join their Yorkshire team as part of planned growth. The studio delivers a broad range of landscape design and planning work across residential, commercial, leisure and energy projects, with a strong reputation for quality and long term client relationships.
This hire is part of a clear growth plan and offers a strong progression pathway into Associate level and wider leadership responsibility.
About the Role
You will lead landscape projects from early concept and planning stages through to detailed design and delivery. The role offers a high level of ownership, client exposure and design influence, with scope to grow into a more senior leadership and ownership position as the team expands.
You will work closely with directors, manage projects, and support junior staff while helping shape project direction and studio output.
Key responsibilities include
* Leading landscape projects across all work stages
* Managing programmes and coordinating multidisciplinary teams
* Acting as a main client contact on projects
* Producing and reviewing design and technical packages
* Supporting and mentoring junior team members
* Contributing to bids and new work discussions
* Taking on increased responsibility aligned with progression to Associate
About You
* Degree or Masters in Landscape Architecture
* Chartered or working towards Chartership preferred
* Confident leading projects and managing clients
* Strong design and technical delivery skills
* Good understanding of UK planning and landscape processes
* Proficient in AutoCAD and Adobe Suite
* SketchUp and visualisation skills beneficial
* Motivated by progression and leadership responsibility
