Service Manager – Multi‑Service Role
Salary: £37,869 per annum
Hours: Full time, 37.5 hours per week
Location: Multi‑site (3 services)
About the role
We are looking for an experienced and confident Service Manager or a confidentand experienced Deputy Manager who is ready to take the next step in their career to lead and oversee three services, managing approximately 1,000 commissioned hours across a workforce of around 45 staff, supported by one Deputy Manager working across the services.
This is a key leadership role with responsibility for delivering high‑quality, person‑centred support while ensuring services are safe, compliant, financially sustainable, and well‑led.
Key responsibilities
As Service Manager, you will:
1. Provide strong leadership and operational oversight across three services
2. Be accountable for around 1,000 commissioned support hours
3. Line manage and develop a staff team of approximately30colleagues, with direct management of a Deputy Manager
4. Ensure services consistently meet regulatory, contractual, and organisational standards
5. Drive quality improvement, embedding person‑centred practice across all services
6. Manage budgets, rotas, and staffing levels to ensure safe and efficient service delivery
7. Build effective relationships with commissioners, families, and key stakeholders
8. Lead on recruitment, induction, supervision, and performance management
9. Prepare services for inspections and respond effectively to any action plans
About you
You will be:
10. An experienced manager or deputy manager within health and social care, ideally with multi‑service or large‑scale operational responsibility
11. Confident managing significant spans of control, including commissioned hours and staffing levels
12. Knowledgeable about regulatory requirements and best practice in supported living / care services
13. A strong people leader, able to motivate, develop, and support managers and staff teams
14. Organised, resilient, and confident making decisions in a fast‑paced environment
