The National Health, Safety & Wellbeing Manager is charged with shaping Ravensdown's future as an industry leader in health, safety and wellbeing—setting new standards, influencing nationally, and ensuring that every worker goes home safe and well, every day.
We are seeking a senior, strategic HSW Manager to take our strong foundations and lead us through the next big step change in delivering our HSW Strategy. To get to the next level of HSW maturity you'll utilise your significant experience to shape the mindset and capability of our people and leaders to deliver a proactive, engaged, and resilient safety culture that enhances Ravensdown's reputation as a trusted cooperative.
Key Responsibilities:
* Drive cultural change by building capability and lifting engagement and leadership.
* Lead and embed a national HSW strategy across a diverse network - manufacturing sites and quarries, to stores and sales.
* Partner directly with the CEO, COO, and executive team, while providing regular specialist advice and assurance to the Board through its newly established HSW Sub-Committee.
* Lead a high-performing team of HSW professionals across multiple sites nationally.
* Build strong internal and external partnerships with regulators, providers, and industry forums.
About You
You will bring drive, determination, energy and enthusiasm for progress to the table. With proven strategic leadership in HSW in large, complex/high-risk environments and a deep knowledge of New Zealand's H&S regulatory environment you will hit the ground running. Your strategic mindset will anticipate emerging trends and risks and turn them into forward-looking strategy. You will have significant experience in leading and embedding HSW change across an organisation, and exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Experience in agricultural or manufacturing sectors is highly desirable, as is experience engaging at governance level.
