As an Accounts Assistant, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive and reliable accounts preparation support within our Healthcare Team.
This role presents an excellent opportunity for an aspiring accountant eager to begin their career journey. You should be working towards a professional qualification or have relevant practical experience, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality service to our clients.
You will assist and work across the firm’s diverse client base within the Healthcare Team, supporting them with various tasks alongside the client manager and Partner.

Key Responsibilities
* Use business systems and processes such as Xero, CCH, Pertax and other commonly used software/apps.
* Deal with clients promptly in a professional and courteous manner and ensure that their data, information, and records are always secure.
* Deal with all communications in a timely manner and ensure they are of a high professional standard.
* Plan, manage and prioritise your own workflow, job approaches and productivity to ensure targets and deadlines are met, as agreed with the Client Manager/Partner.
* Be part of the Healthcare Team, assisting with preparation of specialist Accounts for clients in the Healthcare Sector, and assisting with related personal tax and superannuation calculations
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
* Experience of accounts preparation
* Experience working with healthcare clients is desirable
* IT literate including advanced Excel and knowledge of Xero
