Ecologist – Milton Keynes
We’re looking for a passionate Ecologist to join a growing environmental consultancy based in Milton Keynes. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of an ambitious team delivering exciting new projects across a wide range of sectors.
You’ll work on diverse ecological surveys and assessments, contributing to projects that make a real difference for biodiversity and sustainable development. From preliminary ecological appraisals to protected species surveys and mitigation strategies, no two days will be the same.

What you’ll be doing;
6. Carrying out field surveys and ecological assessments
7. Supporting project delivery from early design through to construction
8. Producing clear, high-quality technical reports
9. Working closely with planners, engineers, and other environmental specialists
10. Helping shape innovative, nature-positive solutions on new developments
What we’re looking for;
11. A degree (or equivalent) in Ecology or a related discipline
12. Experience in ecological surveying and reporting (consultancy experience preferred)
13. Strong knowledge of UK wildlife legislation and best practice
14. A proactive, enthusiastic approach and a genuine love for the natural environment
15. Willingness to learn, develop, and grow with the team
