Job Description
Duties to include:
3. Processing holiday requests
4. Input and manage sickness absence
5. Monthly reports such as employee movements and starters and leavers
6. Inputting new starters & leavers on to the payroll system
7. Timesheet input for both weekly and monthly payrolls
8. Reconciliation of payrolls
9. Assist with yearly salary review process
10. Processing sickness and statutory payments
11. Wage reconciliations for both weekly and monthly payroll for the Accounts department
12. Process commissions, bonuses, overtime and expenses for both weekly and monthly payroll
13. Housekeeping of payroll documentation and reports
14. Keeping Standard Operating Procedures up to date
15. Distribution of pay slips
16. Assisting Fleet Manager with administration tasks
The Successful Applicant
A successful Payroll Assistant should have:
17. Previous experience in a payroll
18. Strong knowledge of payroll systems and procedures.
19. An understanding of relevant payroll legislation and compliance requirements.
20. Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
21. Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
