As a technical PM, you will lead a blended team of engineers, change, training and process experts, client architects and configuration experts focused on upgrading engineering capabilities for a key Defence client. You will be responsible for ensuring effective project execution, adhering to 12‑week sprints to rapidly deliver end‑to‑end solutions in a complex, multi‑vendor delivery environment.
Responsibilities
* Leading and facilitating sprint ceremonies including daily stand‑ups, reviews, show‑and‑tells and problem‑solve sessions.
* Managing project scope, schedule and resources to ensure successful delivery of capability initiatives.
* Removing impediments and creating an environment where the team can be effective and self‑organizing.
* Tracking project progress, managing risks, and communicating status to internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
* Facilitating cross‑functional collaboration between engineering teams and business stakeholders.
* Leading lessons learned ceremonies to learn from experience and continuously improve future sprints.
* Ensuring alignment between project objectives and broader strategic goals.
Your profile
* Proven experience as a Design Engineer or Project Manager in complex engineering or delivery environments.
* Experience leading cross‑functional teams.
* Demonstrated ability to work to KPIs / SLAs.
* Understanding of agile methodologies and their practical application in non‑agile, complex engineering projects.
* Experience in Aerospace and Defence, engineering, manufacturing and/or business and technological change/transformation projects.
* Knowledge of CAD/PLM tools (preferably NX/Teamcenter) and their application in engineering environments.
* Ability to motivate and guide teams.
* Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
* Problem‑solving mindset with the ability to identify and remove impediments.
* Project management training/experience.
* Sole UK National status (mandatory requirement).
* SC cleared or clearable (mandatory requirement).
