To support the Council’s drive to become Council of the Future we are looking to appoint on a permanent full-time basis a dynamic and enthusiastic Customer & Business Support Assistant who will enjoy working in an environment of continuous change and improvement.
You will be educated to SVQ level 2 or equivalent, with a positive ‘can do’ attitude and the drive to ‘make it happen’ in a busy working environment delivering a high-quality responsive service.
Ideally you will have knowledge and experience of Microsoft Office and data protection legislation requirements. You must be able to work accurately to deadlines within a busy team ensuring excellent customer support to both internal and external customers.
The role will suit someone with good Customer Service skills and previous experience working with the public, focusing on efficient and effective front line and business support in line with Place Services requirements.
There are 2 x hybrid working posts available with office based days. One within our Planning & Building Standards Team and one within our Education Team. Both of these posts are 37 hours permanent. Core hours of the post will be 9 am till 5 pm, Monday to Friday.
