The Best Connection are looking for a Polisher to join our leading manufacturing client in Wallingford
Location: Wallingford
Shift times:
* 7.00 am - 15.00 pm
* Monday - Friday
Pay Rate:
* £27K yearly
* Overtime available
* X1.3 Monday to Friday
* X1.5 Saturday
Responsibilities of the Polisher:
* Finishing of GRP mouldings
* Trimming, preparation, polishing, gel coat repairs and assembly of moulded components.
* Polishing of gel coat surfaces
* Checking and identifying defects requiring rework
* Sanding and finishing of cut edges using abrasive papers
Qualifications and experience required:
* Previous experience of finishing GRP or paint finishes/ detailing
* Able to work independently or in part of a team
* Previous experience of working within the marine industry or similar is advantageous but not essential
