As a Graduate Electrical Engineer in our Water Utility Division, you’ll be part of a multidisciplinary team delivering critical infrastructure that supports clean water, wastewater treatment, flood protection, and environmental resilience. You’ll grow technical and project‑management skills while contributing to projects that make a real difference locally and globally.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Design and review electrical and ICA (EICA) designs for water and wastewater infrastructure, including infrastructure and non‑infrastructure assets.
* Develop drawings and documentation such as plant general arrangements, power single line diagrams, cable block diagrams, instrumentation loop diagrams, P&IDs, control system architecture, and I/O schedules.
* Collaborate across disciplines, working closely with clients, contractors and internal teams to deliver integrated, sustainable solutions.
* Use digital tools and data‑driven approaches to enhance design quality and efficiency.
* Gain exposure to project and commercial management, supported by mentoring, training and our Early Careers Professionals Network.
Candidate Specification
Committed and motivated graduates with a genuine passion and desire to make a difference. Eligibility:
* Less than 12 months’ relevant experience (excluding placements)
* Minimum bachelor’s degree (obtained no earlier than 2024) or expected to achieve one in:
* Electrical Engineering
* Electrical & Electronic Engineering
* Electrical and Mechanical Engineering
* Any other electrical engineering related degree
