Vision for Education is seeking a passionate and committed Teacher of Humanities for a full-time position at a high-achieving secondary school in Rochdale, starting September 2025 and continuing until July 2026.
About the Role
We are looking for an exceptional classroom practitioner with a passion for Humanities and a desire to make a real difference in students’ lives. The successful candidate will:

2. Be committed to improving outcomes for all students
3. Hold high expectations for both student progress and personal performance
4. Demonstrate excellent communication skills and a commitment to professional development
5. Stay current with educational research and apply evidence-based strategies in the classroom
You will be teaching across Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4), delivering engaging lessons that foster a love of Humanities and critical thinking.

Requirements
To be considered for the role of Teacher of Humanities you will:
6. Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
7. Be able to motivate, inspire and challenge students
8. Able to provide suitable references, a valid DBS Check and hold the Right to Work in the UK
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
