Job Description
Portico is currently looking for a Meetings and Events Coordinator for our team based with a world‑renowned insurance company in the City. The main purpose of this role is to oversee the booking, forecasting, and logistics of events and large meetings across our London and Ipswich offices, for both internal and external stakeholders. You will ensure a professional, welcoming, and seamless experience that reflects the company’s standards of service and operational excellence. This includes liaising with all parties involved in events, providing assistance to other teams within the front‑of‑house operation, and coordinating with service partners working in the space.
Hours: 40 hours per week, shifts between 7 am‑5 pm, Monday‑Friday, subject to business needs.
Salary: £36,420 per annum.
Qualifications
* Experience within a similar role, coordinating events within a corporate environment.
* Experience using Trimble/Manhattan systems is highly desirable.
* The successful candidate will work effectively both independently and as part of a team, consistently displaying a positive, caring, and engaging approach.
