SEND Teacher – Permanent Position – Redhill
An award-winning, highly reputable group of Special Educational Needs (SEN) schools is seeking a passionate and dedicated SEND Teacher to join the permanent staff team at their Redhill campus. The Role
The successful candidate will plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons tailored to meet the diverse learning needs of pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). Working closely with teaching assistants, therapists, and other specialists, the SEND Teacher will create an inspiring and safe learning environment, enabling every student to achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and deliver differentiated lessons that meet individual learning plans.
* Implement effective strategies to support pupils with a range of needs, including Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), ADHD, and complex learning difficulties.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents/carers, and external professionals.
* Maintain high expectations for pupil behaviour, achievement, and personal development.
* Contribute to the wider life of the school, including extracurricular activities and events.
Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
* Experience teaching pupils with SEND, ideally within a specialist setting.
* Strong understanding of SEN teaching strategies and statutory requirements.
* Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
* Flexibility, creativity, and resilience in a dynamic learning environment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
