Role responsibilities:
:
To oversee and manage the Home Care and Direct Payments budgets of GBP 31.5m in Adults Social Care and their key financial processes, including budget setting, in:year monitoring and closure of accounts

To ensure significant issues are raised with senior management with recommendations for corrective action.
:
To advise services and managers on self:service, financial governance and delegations and ensure adherence to the Council's financial regulations.
:
To assist in the provision of professional financial advice and analysis to support the Council's strategic plans and Medium:Term Financial Strategy process.

Provide financial modelling on Home Care when the service is retendered and support the department on the reforms plans within ASC.
