Teaching Assistant - Key Stage 1 & 2 (SEND Support) Location: Oldbury Start Date: Immediate Contract Type: Full-Time, Long-Term Monarch Education is partnering with a supportive Primary School in Oldbury to recruit a dedicated Teaching Assistant for a full-time, long-term position supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) across both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. The role is available for an immediate start. About the Role: The successful candidate will provide targeted support to pupils with SEND, helping them access the full curriculum and succeed in an inclusive classroom setting. You will work closely with teachers and the SENCO to facilitate individual learning plans and foster a positive, engaging learning environment. Key Responsibilities: Deliver tailored support to pupils with SEND across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 Collaborate with teaching staff and the SENCO to implement inclusive strategies Support the development of a caring, motivating classroom atmosphere Track pupil progress and contribute to observations and feedback to support their development Requirements: Recognised Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification Experience working with children in Key Stage 1 and/or Key Stage 2 within a UK school setting A calm, proactive, and professional approach to supporting pupils with diverse needs A strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare Experience working with SEND students in UK schools is essential for this role.
