We are looking for a motivated and experienced Pack Team Lead to join our team at Gateshead Team Valley. Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage a team of 5-10 employees, ensuring all training requirements are met.
* Oversee packing production, ensuring orders are delivered on time and meet customer specifications.
* Drive shift efficiency to maximize output and minimise waste while adhering to health and safety procedures.
* Stand in for the Shift Manager when needed.
* Liaise with the Product Lead to ensure product quality and schedule adherence.
* Train and verify competency on all relevant quality control checks and train Production Operators.
* Perform GMP audits, risk assessments, and ensure all stock rotation, line clearance, and traceability procedures are followed.
* Lead Continuous Improvement projects and support the Shift Manager in delivering Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC) targets.
Skills & Experience Required
* Proven experience in food manufacturing and food handling.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a team.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively.
* Knowledge of health and safety regulations and procedures.
Qualifications
* Right to work in the United Kingdom.
* Level 2 Food Safety.
