Floors N Carpets Ltd is an independent distributor of flooring and accessories based in the North West, supplying retailers nationwide. We are searching for full-time, experienced drivers to join our existing team.
General Duties
* Delivery and collecting of loads across the UK.
* Transportation of flooring goods on a multi drop basis
* Manual handling, lifting and carrying during loading and unloading.
* Represents the company in a positive way, wearing clean and suitable work clothes and communicating with customers politely.
* Adhere to EU Drivers Hours rules through correct operation of tachographs, with regards to driving, rest and other work.
* Operates safely whilst on sites at all times following H&S rules.
* Work in the warehouse when not on delivery
The ideal candidate:
* Must be experienced in Multi drop groupage loads.
* Flexible and adaptable to changes arising from customer requirements.
* Good communicator who can represent the company in a positive way.
* Honesty and integrity at all times, including when mistakes are made.
* Good standard of safety awareness, supporting company initiatives to eliminate incidents and accidents.
