Our Community Nursing Teams in the Poole North Locality are looking for motivated enthusiastic Band 5 Community Staff Nurse's to join their team. Applicants can be newly qualified, or experienced, as full training, and support will be offered. We are looking for dynamic, self motivated individuals who wish to provide a high standard of nursing care to people in their own homes.
We have both full time and part time positions available. The part-time post is 22.5 hours per week, but there is flexibility with hours. Part-time applicants will be considered as a job share opportunity to fulfil a full-time position. The post holder may be required to work flexibly to meet the needs of the service, covering weekends, lates and bank holidays pro rata.
Responsibilities
* Provide wound care, palliative care, IV drug administration, medication/injection administration, and diabetes management.
* Deliver a range of other diverse nursing skills as required.
Training & Development
* Access to a preceptorship program for newly qualified nurses.
* Specific clinical upskilling programmes to support transition from student to RGN.
* Training opportunities in partnership with local universities.
Qualifications
* Band 5 registered nurse (RN).
* Ability to drive and access to a car.
* Enhanced DBS check (covered by the Trust).
* Valid right to work in the UK; visa sponsorship not available.
