Fabric Engineer (Plumbing Bias) Location: West Drayton, Middlesex (UB7 area) Job Type: Temporary (Temp to Perm Opportunity) Pay Rate: £17.30 per hour We are currently recruiting for a Fabric Engineer with a plumbing bias to join a well-established facilities management contract based in the West Drayton area. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and experienced engineer to secure ongoing work with the potential to move into a permanent position. The Role: You will be responsible for carrying out a range of planned and reactive maintenance tasks across a commercial site, with a strong focus on plumbing works alongside general fabric duties. Key Responsibilities: Plumbing maintenance and repairs (primary focus) General building fabric works including basic carpentry, painting, and patch repairs Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) tasks Reactive maintenance and fault finding Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in line with health & safety regulations Requirements: Proven experience as a Fabric Engineer or similar role Strong plumbing background Multi-skilled with general fabric maintenance experience Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively Good communication and client-facing skills Right to work in the UK What’s on Offer: £17.30 per hour Ongoing temporary work with temp-to-perm potential Immediate start available Stable, long-term opportunity within a professional FM environment
