Due to expansion they are now seeking an experienced and motivated Accounts and Finance Officer to join our finance department and support operations across both our UK and US entities. This is a hands-on role, offering the opportunity to take ownership of key finance functions while also contributing to improvement and integration projects. The Role This position is based at the head office in North Newbald, just outside Beverley in East Riding. Please note that due to very limited public transport, having your own transport is essential. As Accounts and Finance Officer, you will play a vital role in strengthening the finance operations. Key Responsibilities Accounts Receivable: Invoicing, maintaining customer accounts, credit control, and debt management (UK & USA) Accounts Payable: Supporting reconciliations, aged creditors analysis, and assisting with invoice processing Bank Reconciliations: Assisting the finance team with reconciliations VAT Returns: Supporting the preparation and submission of UK VAT returns Intercompany Transactions: Assisting with postings and reconciliations across entities Month-End Support: Contributing to the production of monthly management accounts Process Improvement: Identifying and implementing improvements in finance systems and reporting Ad Hoc Support: Providing additional support as required by business needs About You We are looking for a proactive, detail-oriented individual who is eager to grow with the business. The ideal candidate will be organised, analytical, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
