Join to apply for the Activities Co-ordinator role at HC-One
About The Role
In your role as an Activities Co-ordinator at HC-One, Kindness will be at the core of everything you do. It touches upon every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential and Specialist care homes. By joining HC-One you’ll have a wonderful opportunity to give something back to those people.
As an Activities Co-ordinator, you will plan and implement activities that delight Residents, help the Home Manager organise essential fundraising events, and involve the wider care home team. You’ll aim to give Residents confidence to socialise, develop activity ideas based on Residents’ hobbies, and contribute with a spirit of kindness.
HC-One are looking for someone with a background working with vulnerable individuals, ideally developing activity programmes. Beyond that, it’s about your positive energy and natural ability to get along with people. You’ll have strong planning, organisational and IT skills and be able to manage your time effectively. You should communicate with Residents and co-workers in a considerate and kind manner. Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility and it is important to recognise signs of potential abuse, harm or neglect, know what to do if there are concerns, and to attend safeguarding training appropriate to your role.

* We are creative — finding practical ways to make things happen.
* We are courageous — supporting residents to live the life they choose.
* We are dependable — people can always count on us.
