Locum Optometrist – Canterbury
OutsideClinic is looking for passionate locum optometrists to join us in delivering high quality eye care at patients' homes.

* Days: 3–5 days per week (no weekends)
* Rate: Daily rate + commission

Daily Work
Each day you’ll see a cluster of 6–7 patients within the same local area. Travel can be up to 50 miles from your home postcode, but this won’t be every day – some days you may work just 5 miles away, other days 30–40 miles. Once in your area for the day, you’ll only have short drive between patients as them will be clustered in the same postcode region.
Equipment
All locum optometrists are provided with a full equipment kit and comprehensive training before working independently. Our kit includes a mobile slit lamp, I-care tonometer and our digital records system, which eliminates paperwork.
You Will
* Help around 6–7 patients every day, visiting them in their own homes. Appointments are longer than typical high‑street visits (1 hour) to allow better relationships and gold‑standard care.
* Be trusted to make autonomous decisions and be valued for your expertise, with support from our senior optometrist team available in minutes if needed.
* Use state‑of‑the‑art equipment, including a mobile slit lamp, I-care tonometer and a digital records system.
