Duties
* Assist in food preparation and cooking under supervision, ensuring dishes meet quality standards
* Support food safety protocols and maintain cleanliness throughout the kitchen area
* Help with food presentation and garnishing to ensure visual appeal of dishes
* Supervise junior team members during shifts, providing guidance and support
* Manage kitchen stock levels, including ordering supplies when necessary
* Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth service during busy periods
* Contribute to menu development ideas and participate in tasting sessions
* Uphold hospitality standards by providing excellent service to colleagues and guests
Experience
* Previous experience in food production or a kitchen environment is preferred
* Supervising experience or team management skills are advantageous
* Knowledge of food safety regulations and restaurant hygiene standards is essential
* Practical experience in food preparation, cooking, or culinary roles within hospitality settings is desirable
* Familiarity with restaurant operations, serving, and customer service will be beneficial
