NeuroClin is pioneering cutting-edge clinical research into psychedelic-assisted therapies and psychiatric interventions for Alzheimer’s disease. We are seeking a passionate and skilled Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) to play a key role in delivering compassionate, evidence-based care while supporting world-class research studies. As an RMN at NeuroClin, you will:
* Support and monitor participants during psychedelic-assisted therapy sessions under research protocols, ensuring both psychological safety and physical wellbeing.
* Conduct pre- and post-session assessments, including mental state examinations and risk evaluations.
* Assist in psychiatric assessments and interventions for Alzheimer’s participants, working closely with psychiatrists and neuropsychologists.
* Perform a range of clinical procedures, including vital signs assessment, ECGs, venepuncture, IV infusions, and sample processing.
* Ensure compliance with GCP, Home Office, and MHRA standards, particularly relating to Schedule 1 substances.
* Collaborate with a diverse clinical and research team to deliver high-quality, ethical, and effective investigational treatments.
* Engage in ongoing training and professional development, including opportunities to attend global conferences and contribute to business development within therapeutic areas.
Key Responsibilities
* Support delivery of clinical research protocols in psychedelic and neuropsychiatric studies.
* Ensure accurate documentation and data integrity across all research activities.
* Contribute to patient safety and site compliance with all regulatory requirements.
* Build and maintain referral pathways with local institutions and healthcare organisations.
* Assist in site audits, study meetings, and protocol development discussions.
Essential Requirements:
* Registered Mental Health Nurse (NMC)
* Experience in psychiatric care, ideally including exposure to acute psychotic incidents
* Competence in ECG, venepuncture, cannulation, and IV/subcutaneous/intramuscular administration
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* High attention to detail, methodical and ethical approach
* Ability to travel nationally and internationally as required
* Confidence using electronic systems (Office 365, CTMS, study databases)
* Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively
* Leadership experience and an interest in supporting new clinic start-up operations
Desirable:
* Master’s degree or further education in Life Sciences / Clinical Research
* Previous experience in a Clinical Trials environment
