Hours: Full-time, 9am to 5.15pm Monday to Thursday, Friday 9am to 4pm
Cannock Gates are the UK's leading manufacturer of wrought iron and timber gates and railings. For over 40 years we have been manufacturing and selling our products from our factories based in Cannock. Our products are associated with quality and reliability, backed by exceptional customer service.
The company has ambitious expansion plans and recently introduced a range of aluminium, composite and security products and we are now looking to recruit a Sales Advisor to join our dynamic team and be instrumental in this growth.
We are seeking a proactive and personable Sales Advisor to join our small, friendly team in Cannock. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in our continued expansion by selling our products to existing and new trade and retail clients.
About the Role You'll be dealing with a number of existing clients, taking orders, quoting and dealing with their enquiries as well as new clients who call us or visit our showrooms. You will also deal with online enquiries and calls from new customers as well as regularly gaining feedback and assisting in finding new clients
Key Responsibilities:
· Confidently deal with customers via telephone or in the showroom
· Build rapport with prospective customers and understand their needs
· Handle inbound queries and process orders
· Maintain and update the CRM database
· Research new market opportunities and competitor activity
· Upsell relevant products and services
· Monitor and report on personal performance metrics
· Support general office tasks during peak periods
What We're Looking For:
· Proven experience in targeted sales (phone or face-to-face)
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills
· Confident, resilient, and sociable personality
· Analytical mindset with attention to detail
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
· Good level of basic math's, able to work with measurements in metric and imperial
· Sage and Microsoft Office Knowledge is desirable
