As an Audit Assistant Manager, you will:
1. Plan audit engagements and lead onsite teams (80% of your time).
2. Prepare accounts and draft tax computations (20% of your time).
3. Liaise with clients to resolve queries, escalating complex matters to the manager or partner.
4. Review team members' work before passing the completed file to the manager.
5. Coach juniors and provide feedback on their work quality and performance.
6. Control assignment time in line with pre-determined budgets.
Requirements for an Audit Assistant Manager include:
* A professional accounting qualification – ACA, ICAS, CA, or ACCA (minimum).
* Experience in planning and leading external audits.
* Knowledge of UK GAAP / FRS 102.
* Client-facing experience.
* Experience with audit software (we use Caseware) and Microsoft Office packages.
