We're partnering with a leading food manufacturing business to recruit an experienced Health & Safety Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead the sites HSE function and play a key role in fostering a proactive safety culture across operations.
The Role:
Youll lead a small HSE team, ensuring full compliance with health, safety, and environmental legislation while driving continuous improvement in standards. This role is pivotal in embedding a culture where safety, wellbeing, and environmental responsibility are top priorities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement HSE policies in line with legal and internal standards
* Lead site audits, risk assessments, and accident investigations
* Champion behavioural safety and employee engagement initiatives
* Ensure LOLER, PUWER, COSHH and RIDDOR compliance
* Manage training needs and ensure competency frameworks are met
* Maintain ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 standards and support audits
* Collaborate with leadership to drive strategic improvements in HSE performance
* Manage the HSE budget and deliver projects on time and within scope
