You’ll be joining a long‑established Tier 2 construction organisation with a strong reputation for delivering high‑quality new build, fit‑out and refurbishment projects across the UK. The business operates across multiple sectors, includingmercial, public, retail and healthcare and is recognised for its innovative approach, client‑focused delivery and proven track record in successful project management.
Your new role
As a Senior Estimator, you will play a key role in leading the pre‑construction and tendering process across a diverse portfolio of projects. You will prepare accurate cost estimates, analyse drawings and specifications, manage enquiries with subcontractors and suppliers, and contribute topetitive andpliant tender submissions. You will work closely with pre‑construction,mercial and project delivery teams to support strong bidding performance and secure new work.
You will be involved in projects across industrial, retail, education and healthcare environments, covering both new build and refurbishment schemes.
What you'll need to succeed
1. Strong experience as an Estimator within the construction industry, ideally at senior level.
2. Proven background working on new build or refurbishment projects.
3. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
4. Strong negotiation andmunication skills when dealing with suppliers and subcontractors.
5. A proactive approach with the ability to work to deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
6. Knowledge of current construction materials, legislation and market pricing.
