The design integration lead will work with partner engineering design leads to support programme delivery. Due to the strict security requirements, candidates must be a UK National and will need to progress through security clearance and travel to multiple UK based project offices. You’ll be responsible for: Driving proactive performance management of process plant and equipment (PP&E) integrated design delivery based on partner supplied data. Building key stakeholder relationships at a working level including encouraging co-location working with the wider PP&E team. Leading weekly drumbeat of meetings including PLOWs and weekly progress reviews. Managing of monthly reviews including monthly progress review to drive accountability and understanding of monthly performance. Writing of PP&E aspects into the monthly reporting for IPPR through Power BI summaries across the project aspects. Reporting out at IPPR of PP&E status to the Integration director. Reviewing risk & opportunities registers with PP&E to understand status of mitigations and to articulate impacts through weekly/ monthly drumbeat reviews. Supporting of LFE with being part of the monthly meetings to input on areas of lessons learned and capture any potential opportunities to incorporate within the project. Working collaboratively with design & assurance lead to understand any give/gets required and any knock on affects to partner scope. Strong problem solving and analytical skills across cost, scheduling, procurement, contract administration, financial controls, and reporting, across the project lifecycle. Adapts to changing priorities and requirements within a challenging client & partner environment. Challenging in constructive manner to ensure robust solutions and reporting is substantiated from partners inputs. Identifying escalation issues that require senior stakeholder involvement, for example resourcing issues. Implementing the trend and change process to ensure governance and compliance is maintained. Promoting a close working relationship with programme partner disciplines such as planners, risk managers, reporting manager etc. to foster collaborative working environment, including working in hub locations to discuss daily/weekly issues to resolve. Monthly line by line assessment of PP&E PfAs for identification of any programmatic issues and contract issues, with then reporting this the Integrated design delivery lead. Adhere to the published Integro management system arrangements. Working with the Integrated design delivery lead & lifecycle optimisation lead for future phase delivery strategy and improvements. You’ll need to have: Experience of complex major projects. Experience working in a fast-moving project environment essential. SQEP trained for nuclear engineering/design/PM roles essential. Experience of nuclear or high secure sectors desirable. Proven ability for technical problem solving & ability to interpret and contribute to technically focussed discussions involving project. performance management, product design/engineering (mechanical/electrical/control systems). Thorough understanding of the principles of product lifecycle planning/management. Ability to identify project & system level interfaces/dependencies to determine and influence critical path. Effective communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills. Integrate, network & influence cross functionally within the clients existing organisational structure.
