Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by performing various tasks related to the handling, storage, and distribution of goods. This position requires physical stamina and a keen attention to detail to maintain high standards of accuracy and efficiency.
Working Hours: 37.5 per week
* Monday to Friday - shift pattern (6am to 2pm and 2pm to 10pm)
Duties
* To check goods for damage or missing items and assign them to relevant location.
* To store warehouse goods in an organised manner and rotate stock.
* To participate in regular stock checks as directed by the team leader and/or operations manager.
* To keep the warehouse environment clean and tidy and maintain equipment.
* To treat all merchandise with care and concern at all times.
* Process orders on company software to ensure customer orders are fulfilled.
* Process social media orders on a Sunday where applicable.
* Pick and pack 40-50 orders per hour
* Follower all health and safety procedure
Skills
* Proficiency in operating forklifts and other material handling equipment is desirable but not essential.
* Experience in picking, packing, and building pallets for shipment.
* Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks consistently throughout the shift.
* Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes within a warehouse setting.
* Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) is advantageous; Helm.
* Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in order fulfilment.
* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
